Where GiftPro is stronger
GiftPro is built around hospitality groups and it shows in its integration list. It names connections to hotel property management systems including Mews, Opera by Oracle and Rezcontrol, to EPOS systems such as Oracle Simphony and Tevalis, and to spa and booking tools including Phorest and Trybe. It also offers an API and marketing integrations with tools such as Klaviyo and Mailchimp.
It can print, pack and post vouchers for you, sells event tickets and products alongside vouchers, and helps design and set up the online store. A hotel that wants vouchers tied to its PMS, sold across several properties and posted in presentation packaging will find GiftPro does more of that work than Bronora does today.
Where Bronora is different
Bronora publishes its price. The fee is 3% when a voucher sells, with no self-service setup or monthly fee, so a hotel or spa can work out the cost before speaking to anyone. Payments settle to the business’s own Stripe account.
The shop is focused on the guest journey: stays, dining, treatments and flexible credit, with the inclusions, booking conditions and expiry shown before payment. Vouchers are emailed immediately or on a chosen date with a personal message and a PDF. Reception, restaurant and spa teams redeem by QR code or short code on an enrolled phone or tablet, including part of a balance, and the owner sees the value still outstanding.
Bronora is also built in Ireland for Irish businesses, with a five-year default validity for paid vouchers and euro pricing. If you would rather not negotiate a rate, or you want to start selling from a shop link without an integration project, it is worth a look.
Questions to settle before you choose
- Do vouchers need to connect to your PMS, spa booking system or EPOS?
- What commission rate does GiftPro propose for your sales volume and number of venues?
- How many vouchers are posted in packaging rather than emailed?
- Are postal fulfilment and Royal Mail postage suitable for Irish guests?
- How are existing voucher codes and balances moved across?
Bronora does not offer PMS, EPOS or spa-system integrations, printed vouchers or postal fulfilment at launch. For a hotel comparison with a booking-engine provider, see Bronora and Net Affinity, or the full comparison list.
